Ingredients:
Sugar Cookies

1 cup (226g) unsalted butter

1 cup (200g) granulated sugar

3 cups (360g) all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon Heilala Vanilla Extract

1 egg

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt
Royal Icing
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350° F (180° C)In the bowl of your mixer, cream butter and sugar until smooth, at least 3 minutesBeat in Heilala Vanilla Extract ad egg whiteIn a separate bowl, mix together flour, baking powder and saltWith your mixer on medium speed, add dry ingredients to egg mixture a little at a time
Mix until dough comes together
Flour your bench and wet your hands, knead dough on bench until smooth
Roll out dough to 1/2inch (1cm) thick and cut into egg shapes
Place on a lined cookie sheet approximately 1inch (2cm) apart and bake at
350° F (180° C) for 6-8 minutes.
Let cool on the cookie sheet until firm enough to transfer to a cooling rack
Royal Icing
Whisk egg white until light and foamy
Mix in confectioners sugar a little at a time and beat until a thick white paste forms
Mix through Heilala Vanilla Bean Paste until seeds are evenly dispersed
Scoop frosting into your piping bag and pipe onto cooled cookies
